Our Austin OB roster consists of obgyns who specialize in routine and high-risk obstetric care and gynecologic services, including menopause, surgery and osteoporosis screening. Each of our Austin OB staff members in the Renaissance Women’s Group is board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Byron Darby provides state-of-the-art prenatal diagnosis and ultrasound, including CVS, amniocentesis and counseling in genetics. Dr. Darby is accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and certified for the new First Trimester Down’s Syndrome Screen.
Our practice also includes Advanced Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) who improve our ability to deliver individualized and personalized care to all of our patients. They each hold state and/or national certificates in their field. They are highly trained in women’s healthcare, providing prenatal care, annual exams, minor office procedures, as well as co-management of chronic or acute medical problems.
NPs and PAs can write prescriptions. They do not attend deliveries or perform surgical procedures.
Our Austin OB team thanks you for choosing Renaissance Women’s Group. We think you will be pleased with the compassionate and expert care we provide to our patients, and looking forward to serving you.
